The Air Rally will be three big days of laid-back radio contolled airplanes enjoying the air over the Buffalo Chip campground and will include lots of open flight time, exciting flight demos, a steak fry, awards and giveaways.

The Air Rally is open to the public all three days. No admission charge. The best time for spectators will be on Saturday, the 13th, at 1:00 P.M. for some exciting flight demos by some of the best R/C flyers around. The Black Hills Life Flight Air Ambulance helicopter will arrive at 11:00 A.M. Bleacher seating is available but bring your lawn chairs and stay the whole day. Food and drinks available on site.

Saturday night, the 13th at 7:00 P.M. we will have a steak fry at the swimmin' hole including awards and giveaways.

On-site camping near the field is available. Park your RV, raise your tent, plug in your trailer within a few feet of the flight line. Seventeen Bufflalo Chip cabins are available as well.

3-D Flying will be allowed the first 20 minutes of each hour. Ful details on the back of the site map.

We have word that Chris Lund and his friends from HeliProz in Billings, Montana will return to the Air Rally this year as show pilots on Saturday. Speak to anyone who visited last year about their amazing helicopter and large plane 3-D acrobatics. We also have show pilots lined up from North Dakota, Nebraska and South Dakota.

Black Hills Lifeflight will once again be in attendance on Saturday with their full-size helicopter air ambulance. There may be other full size aircraft on display.
